As Séance on a Wet Afternoon goes into production mode at New York City Opera, I thought I’d post some shots of our favorite diva – The incomparable Lauren Flanigan (Myra in the Séance world premiere in SB) paired with two of OSB’s leading men, both past and present. First, with Ryan MacPherson in NYCO’s production of Samuel Barber’s Vanessa (Ryan sings Alfredo in our Traviata next month), and then with tenor Alan Glassman in the 2007 world premiere of Pasatieri’s Frau Margot at Fort Worth Opera (Alan sang both Turridu and Canio in our 2008 Cav/Pag double bill).
